Meet the Ehrenbergs

Carin and Roger met in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1987 and a great partnership was born. In those years since their first date, Carin and Roger have become parents to two fellow Wolverines, Andrew and Ethan, built a life in New York City and developed a set of experiences and passions that would drive their future engagement in philanthropy, advocacy and activism.

Founded by Roger and Carin Ehrenberg, the Ehrenberg Family Charitable Fund is deeply committed to creating lasting impacts across areas central to the family’s core values and toward changing outcomes through opportunity. Our mission is to further empower communities and individuals by supporting initiatives that create real opportunities for growth in health, personal development and neighborhood connection.

With focuses on Education, Health Care, Opportunity and Civic Engagement, the Ehrenberg Family Fund grants and donates to a wide ranging set of organizations and causes. We believe an investment in these areas can help drive toward a more just and equitable society, where access to education, health, and opportunity is available to all, rather than something predetermined by one’s background or lived experience.

The Fund collaborates with forward-thinking institutions, grassroots organizations, and visionaries that are deeply committed to transforming lives and driving meaningful change. Inspired by Carin and Roger’s commitment to giving and the power of collective action, the
Ehrenberg Family Fund aspires toward a better future where every individual can thrive.
