Diversity Scholarship at the School of Information

The Diversity Scholarship provides need-based support to students in the School of Information who have overcome educational or economic obstacles. These funds are bringing together students from a wide array of backgrounds to create a strong, diverse learning environment in the School of Information.

Internship Scholarship at the School of Information

The Internship Scholarship allows students to pursue an opportunity in their field of interest without the financial hardship of unpaid internships. This fund provides paid internships to 30-40 students each summer.

LEAP Scholarship for School
of Education

LEAPS is a bachelor’s degree in education that prepares graduates for a wide range of professions and career paths. LEAPS students live on the Detroit Campus at the School at Marygrove their freshman year and are trained to become “learning leaders” with strong partnership skills with communities and organizations.

Masters in Engineering Scholarship

Endowed gift providing scholarship funds for Masters degree students, which historically lacks funding, in the College of Engineering. This program provides access and equity for students who could not otherwise pursue these graduate degrees.

Roger sits on the board of the Ross School of Business and provides guidance on the strategic direction of the school, driving innovation, fostering industry partnerships, and advancing academic excellence.

 

Robotics Co-Curriculum Program

The University of Michigan’s College of Engineering is committed to extending its world-class robotics curriculum beyond its walls, as well as promoting the principles of equity and access, and has developed a program to offer students from partner HBCUs the opportunity to enroll in select undergraduate robotics course offerings.

University Musical Society

The University of Michigan Musical Society (UMS) is a performing arts organization dedicated to bringing exceptional music, dance, and theater performances to Michigan audiences. Through its diverse programming and community engagement, UMS fosters a deep connection to the arts and supports the cultural vibrancy of the region.

University of Michigan Athletics

Athletes Connected

Endowed support for the Athletes Connected program which is a program focused on increasing awareness around student-athlete mental health. Athletes Connected is staffed by a group of mental health professionals that provide psychoeducation and resources for athletes and coaches.

Athletic Fellowship

Endowed Athletic Fellowship provides two year training and licensing experience for recent graduates with degrees in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology. The Ehrenberg Athletic Fellow is an additional staff member in Athletic Counseling providing wellness support to student athletes.

Human Dimension Program

The Human Dimension Program is a three-year course that places the students in the field to better understand the many Determinants of Health – this includes social , personal, economic, and environmental determinants. Our gift funds this program and its commitment to improving community health.

Athlete Ally

Athlete Ally is a nonprofit organization committed to encouraging all athletes to act as allies and promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality in sports. Carin is currently the board co-chair, helping to expand the organization’s work to create a safer and more supportive environment for LGBTQ+ individuals in all levels of athletics.
